An ‘abstract’ sculpture has attracted a lot of attention in Hong Kong these days. The 15.5 metre-tall installation named Complex Pile, by American artist Paul McCarthy, resembles a giant poop. The exhibition is organised by the West Kowloon visual culture center with the name of “M+”. According to the museum’s director, he wasn’t sure what the artist was trying to achieve.
Other sculptures part of the exhibition include a giant cockroach, Stonehenge and a suckling pig. Unfortunately, heavy rainfall was too much for the giant poop, which was found deflated on the ground one morning. (Via: ajc.com)
