The rules of the race are quite simple. From the top of a hill a round Gloucester cheese is rolled and participants race down the hill to try to catch it. Winner of the race, and the cheese, is the first person to cross the finish line at the bottom of the hill.  Although the goal is to actually catch the cheese on its descend, it’s not really possible as the cheese gets a 1 second head start and can reach speeds up to 70 mph (112 km/h).

Each parking space is one meter wider than the average space, making it possible for women to park without damaging neighboring vehicles, as a mall representative explains. The car park for women has also been painted in pink and purple colours, to better fit it’s targeted audience. The question is: is it discriminating against men to not allow them access or provocative against women by insinuating they can’t park the car in normal sized lots? (via: imagechina.com).

Rick from Canada has been tattooed into a living zombie

February 27, 2013 in Crazy and bizarre, North America, Pictures

Meet Rick from Montreal, Canada. A living zombie. Having spent more than 24 hours being tattooed and costing more than $ 4,000 Canadian dollars, Rick is now looking more like zombie than a living person. His tattoos resemble the inside of the body, showing bones, teeth and intestines. According to Rick, the tattoos are about the human body as a decomposing corpse. As the art of a rotten cadaver. On top of that, Rick also loves horror movies, which the tattoos are a tribute to.

The first major step in the transformation was when he had his hands tattooed. It can become much more difficult to get a decent job, when your hands are covered in tattoos. But he has it done and sincem then the body painting only escalated. (Via: bizarremag.com).
